HARRISONBURG, VA – Lee Huffman, 61, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Thursday Nov. 16, 2017 at Sentara RMH Hospital. He was born Sunday Jan. 22, 1956, in Harrisonburg.
Lee was a Waynesboro High School graduate and a 1979 graduate of Bridgewater College. Prior to retirement, he worked in the insurance industry before transitioning to the car business. He began his career at Wheatley Motor Car Co. before spending time at Keith’s Auto Sales, Harrisonburg Honda, Miller Honda in Winchester, and finally as the General Manager of Marlow Ford in Luray, Va.
Lee cared greatly for his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, music, cars, a good joke, and helping others. He will be best remembered for being charismatic, boisterous, generous, and loving.
He is survived by his wife, Charlinda; two children, Sam Huffman and wife, Corrie, of Nashville, Tenn., Sarah Linn and husband, Patrick, of Harrisonburg; and four grandchildren, Harper Linn, Hannah Linn, Ruby Linn, and Mahlon Huffman.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov, 21, at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
